Our master’s projects were exhibited at Les Tres Xemeneies, alongside more than 400 works from Elisava. This final exhibition was especially meaningful, as we curated and designed how our projects would be displayed in such a powerful space.

Architect and scenographer: research, project and museographic development
The CARDE is a museum that brings together cars, art, design, and education, transforming the way we think about the past. With a collection of around 100 rare and iconic automobiles, it tells the story of Brazil and the world through the evolution of cars, presenting them as true works of art. Each room features detailed scenography that evokes a specific historical period. The museum also incorporates diverse cultural and artistic perspectives, including Indigenous voices and the work of artists and craftswomen, broadening the critical view on technology, the environment, and society.

Beth Carvalho’s house in Maricá (Rio de Janeiro), her former holiday home, has been transformed into an interactive museum dedicated to her life and legacy. The project features interactive rooms, cinema rooms, a stage for samba gatherings, spaces for music and samba workshops, and a dressing-room area displaying Beth Carvalho’s personal collection, including personal items, costumes, and album covers.

Architect and scenographer: technical detailing
The house, designed by Oscar Niemeyer at the request of Darcy Ribeiro and inspired by the huts of Indigenous peoples from the Xingu, was where the anthropologist and scholar of the Brazilian people wrote his most important work. Now transformed into the Darcy Ribeiro House Museum, the residence underwent curatorial and architectural interventions by Gringo Cardia, including interactive spaces, cinema, auditorium, library, podcast studio, karaoke room, and exhibition areas. The museum is part of a network of cultural spaces, such as the Beth Carvalho House and the Praça da Utopia, which will be interconnected to form a cultural complex.
